Photo shoots

Planning & art direction for international photo shoots.

While at StudyGroup I art directed many photo shoots, around the world and the UK, some for bespoke covers, others to generate location-specific or general classroom shots, all for our global image bank. 

The photos below are from a 2012 trip to the USA and Canada. The process started with working with the marketing teams to find out what they needed in terms of images, drawing up shot lists and then liaising with schools in San Francisco, Vancouver, Victoria and Toronto to get the students to the locations we needed them at the right time. The final step was the actual on-site art direction for all photo shoots.

This overlapped with a video schedule, so I planned and liaised with the schools and video production company to get both done while on the trip.
