Style, Stitch, Staple is book I designed at RotoVision Books.

Authored by Hannah Stanton, this upholstery book was one of the first books I designed at Rotovision, and, dare I say, my favourite. I was charged with coming up with the design concept for the first 13 spreads of tools, and directing the photo shoot.

Rather than use the conventional style of photographing individual tools, I opted to spend the day dashing with digital images between my Mac and the shoot room. We tweaked layouts and tools to get a single perfect shot for each page. Luckily the fantastic photographer, Michael Wicks, appreciated the vision I had in my head and worked with me to get it just right.
