Instructional book design

A Step-by-step illustrated origami book designed for children.

Children’s book design for Quarto, a global publisher of illustrated books. Their brief to me as a freelancer and children’s book designer were to redesign two children’s origami books, one on animals and one on dinosaurs. They wanted the books to be colourful, exciting and clean, and as part of the project I researched images that could liven up the how-to-fold illustrations. I also needed to make sure it was co-editionable, with perfectly set-up design files that other designers would find easy to use.
