How it Works book design
A Concept for an illustrated educational children’s book.
A children’s book design concept for Quarto, a global publisher of illustrated books www.quarto.com. Their brief to me as a freelancer and children’s book designer was to take existing layouts and create a new concept for using the illustrations in a new, fresh and vibrant way. The illustrations were supplied flat so there was a lot of Photoshop work and clipping paths to be created in order to re-use and revive them. I also needed to make sure it was co-editionable, with perfectly set-up design files that other designers would find easy to use.
